Client fan mail:
Diane McIntyre, Public Relations Manager, Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream
Nancy has researched, written, edited and revised brochures, recipes, press releases, employee profiles and packaging copy. She has picked up the ball and run with these projects, leaving us free to focus elsewhere while she coordinates with graphic designers, vendors and our employees in offices all over the country. It was she who noted stylistic inconsistencies in our packaging, press release, website and newsletter prose usage. As a consultant looking out for our interests, she worked with us to produce a company style sheet. She has been fast, flexible and, particularly important for an ice cream company, fun.
Janet Fletcher, Food Writer and Editor
Both Nancy and Tim provided valuable assistance, writing articles, proofreading and editing for Dean & DeLuca's website and catalogue during my tenure as the company's consulting editorial director.
Nancy and Tim quickly mastered Dean & DeLuca's voice and style and proved flexible and enthusiastic collaborators. I was impressed with their ability to write creative, compelling and intelligent sales copy and well-researched features. Their computer proficiency was invaluable given that these projects required work on a large number of shared text, spreadsheet and database files. They were consistently conscientious, good-natured and able to meet deadlines.
As copywriters, proofreaders and editors, Nancy and Tim made my job easier. I would not hesitate to work with them again.
Michael Miller, Brown Miller Communications
Nancy's long years of experience as an editorial writer make her invaluable as both a writer and consultant. As a journalist herself, she has an invariable instinct for a "hook," be it for a press release, a feature or an entire publicity campaign. She understands what makes press materials useful and provides what she would find most useful herself.
Nancy's style of work is professional, enthusiastic and good-natured. She turns projects around quickly and handles rewrites efficiently. Her familiarity with the culinary community makes her a particularly useful resource. We would not hesitate to use Culinary Communications & Consulting again.

Barry L. Bergman, Director of Winemaking, R.H. Phillips Vineyards, and past president, The Rhone Rangers organization
Starting with the second issue of our newsletter, Tim proposed and wrote a series of eight articles on each of the major Rhone grape varieties and the wines they can make, providing useful and lively education about relatively unknown subjects. The articles all incorporated comments and experiences from a cross-section of participating wineries, helping make our membership feel involved in the organization.
Tim also put together a primer on Rhone grapes for our website, and an excellent draft of a new general brochure for the organization. He knows his stuff, meets his deadlines, and has been a real help in getting us and our newsletter off the ground.
